The Potential Role of Lipopeptide Biosurfactant Generated by Acinetobacter junii B6 on Leishmania Tropica: The Synergy of Lipopeptide Biosurfactant and Glucantime

چکیده

An in vitro investigation was carried out to assess how the lipopeptide biosurfactant (LPB) produced by Acinetobacter junii B6 affects Leishmania tropica infection and associated cytokine gene expression macrophages infected with L. tropica. Glucantime® (meglumine antimoniate, MA) LPB were investigated for their leishmanicidal effect, alone combination (LPB + MA), using a colorimetric test macrophage model. Immunomodulatory impact also evaluated through analysis of Th1 Th2 after treatment MA LPB, individually combination. The MA/LPB showed higher inhibitory impacts on amastigotes promastigotes than each alone. Cytokine confirmed LPB’s affinity IFN-γ, affirming elevated IL-12p40 IFN- γ concentrations addition reduction secretion IL-10 dose-dependent manner, particularly combined treatment. results indicated effectiveness along parasite growth promoting immune reaction level, which may be considered as possible therapeutic strategy treat those anthroponotic cutaneous leishmaniasis.

Lipopeptide biosurfactant production bacteria Acinetobacter sp. D3-2 and its biodegradation of crude oil.

In this work, a hydrocarbon-degrading bacterium D3-2 isolated from petroleum contaminated soil samples was investigated for its potential effect in biodegradation of crude oil. The strain was identified as Acinetobacter sp. D3-2 based on morphological, biochemical and phylogenetic analysis. The optimum environmental conditions for growth of the bacteria were determined to be pH 8.0, with a NaCl...

Lipopeptide biosurfactant viscosin enhances dispersal of Pseudomonas fluorescens SBW25 biofilms

Pseudomonads produce several lipopeptide biosurfactants that have antimicrobial properties but that also facilitate surface motility and influence biofilm formation. Detailed studies addressing the significance of lipopeptides for biofilm formation and architecture are rare. Hence, the present study sets out to determine the specific role of the lipopeptide viscosin in Pseudomonas fluorescens S...
